Hey guys,
I am having some trouble with some mime types (js and css mainly). I have a js embedded like so in EE:

[removed][removed]

Just to let you know I have modified the inputs in the CP so that {homepage} just outputs the domain name.

I always get this message:

Resource interpreted as other but transferred with MIME type application/x-javascript.

However I tried using the same code for a plain .html version (excluding EE) and everything works fine and I get no mime type errors…

Sorry, but I"m not following you here.  Where exactly are you receiving this error, on the front end or the control panel?

Wow quick answer. Sorry for not making it clear. I am getting this in the Safari Web Inspector…

So is this a template or in the control panel?  If it’s a front end template, can you give us a link to it?

here is a link to the page: http://www.frecuencies.com/new and yes it is a template. However the JS file is not a JS template by EE but just a plain JS file! To insert the script I used the line of code shown above.

If I copy the source code of the generated template and then save it as a html file and visit it I don’t get that error.

Sorry, but I am not seeing the error. Specifically what file are you getting the strange headers on?  The functions.js file returns application/x-javascript ..  I have the jquery cached in my browser since you are pulling it from Google, but if I dump my cache, it loads fine.

Really? That’s weird. Which Safari version are you using? It is the functions.js file that returns the weird mime-type! Maybe it’s Safari 4?

I can also confirm correct MIME type using Firefox 3. I will close this one for now but if you run into any more problems, please feel free to start a new thread.
