    Our company blog is hosted on Yahoo! Store servers. I am contacting them about this issue as well, but just wanted to know if anyone has seen this before.

    For the past week or so the blog occasionally errors out and produces the message below. Occasionally I can get to the system login screen before this occurs and on clicking “submit” after entering my login and password I get the error. When visiting the site directly as a reader the same error appears. Any ideas on how to correct this?

    MySQL ERROR:

    Error Number: 1016

    Description: Can’t open file: ‘exp_security_hashes.MYI’ (errno: 145)

    Query: INSERT INTO exp_security_hashes (date, ip_address, hash) VALUES (UNIX_TIMESTAMP(), ‘24.173.33.62’, ‘dd07261d1f21e1b3faabc2f9ffa32cc990b98504’)

    This is definitely an issue with your db server, and your host should be able to fix it. The db server might be running out of storage space, or there might be a failing HDD or some other hardware issue. This is probably not an issue with EE as such. Please let us know what they say.

    Problem resolved. After speaking with Yahoo Merchant Services our rep found that there were references to deleted members still in the table. Most likely these were members who applied to join the forums but were deleted because they were suspected spammers. Yahoo repaired this table and all is working now.

    Oddly, this error only effected Admin logins. Copywriters for our company were able to log in and create new posts without issue.

    I am glad you were able to get to the bottom of this. Please post again if you need additional help.
