    So I have an otherwise well-behaved blog section. I have a sidebar which contains this code, not wrapped w/in any other code or such thing…

    {exp:weblog:month_links weblog="{my_weblog}"}
      <li><a href="http://{path=site/tavern-talk}">{month} {year}</a></li>
    {/exp:weblog:month_links}

    Yet it always shows the current month and year at the top of the list! The problem is that March doesn’t have any entries in it, not even any unpublished ones. I can’t figure out why March is showing. When you click to it, it’s empty - no posts. Sure, I’m handling it gracefully with no_results, but it’s still a Bad Thing.

    Any suggestions on this one?

    Wow, ALREADY figured it out. Sometimes you just have to write out your problem I guess.

    The original author of this code put {my_weblog} in there, which wasn’t defined! Once I changed that to the proper name, it worked. I just wasn’t realizing the issue!

    Glad you figured it out, Raymond!  Post back if anything else comes up that you need assistance with.
