I’m new to EE and just setup our user forums. I want to add our company log and some other html. I’m hoping that this is not too hard, but I don’t know where to start.

Is there a how-to for modifying the design/skin of the EE Forum?

    Growandmake,

Most of the changes you want to make are in theme_global.php and theme_css.php or in the forum control panel the global group.

The best way to handle those changes is to do them offline, on MAMP or WAMP or LAMP, on a separate install of EE. Those templates can be edited live for tweaks, but one wrong change could mess up the whole bowl of Cheerios. Been there.

    Agree with Ronnie.

for the record in a few weeks I’ll be launching EE Forums 4 You a site for ExpressionEngine developers to outsource their forum work. Sort of like a psd2html site, but more niche. Look for it soon.

Sean, stick my name on a list somewhere for notification when you’re ready with a launch. I have a new site with a forum which would go up in a month or so. Still debating on whether to use vBulletin (easy skinning) or EE forums (not so easy skinning).
