I was wondering what other people & companies are using for their onsite search. I think we have to admit that the existing search functionality has some shortcomings that makes it quite unusable (like not taking into account category-data), let’s hope 2.0 solves these shortcomings, but in meanwhile:
How do you organize search do you use existing search-engines, EE add-ons (I haven’t found any, but maybe you have) or do you go for seperate applications that you install next to EE?
