    Hi all,

Just wanted to quickly clarify something that I believe is implied here and here.

Am I right in thinking that the 1.6.5 update changed the xhtml typography treatment so that <p> tags would automatically be inserted within all block-level html tags? I’m seeing this with blockquotes and object tags. Is this intended behavior? Is there any way to disable it without a hack?

I can see the logic behind it—particularly for blockquotes—but it’s causing some layout surprises that I’d prefer not to have to address with CSS if there is a quick and easy preference adjustment available.

    Many thanks,
    Rob

    Greetings Rob:

You could look into the Legacy Typography Plugin to help fix some of the surprises that have come up for you.

Many thanks Greg. Hopefully this is just for a transitional phase while we’re retooling our CSS. Much appreciated.
