Hi, anyone know what the restrictions are regarding the password for member registration and login? I mean length, acceptable characters, etc.
I wish to inform the user and pre-validate with Javascript on the frontend (using Solspace User Add-on) to avoid the… err, unfriendly 😖… EE form error messages.

I believe there’s a 32 character limit. Not sure about illegal characters, but that should be pretty easy to test for.
