Hello
I have the standalone entry form on my page. The entries are then listed beneath it. The idea being that the entry form is used to generate a list of items for the user. However I would also like them to be able to delete and entry? Is there a way of placing a delete function for each entry on the page?

Take a look at the Delete Entry Outside Of Control Panel plugin. Should help you to do what you need.
Be careful and make sure that you only allow the correct members / member groups access to this though or you may get someone nasty deleting all your posts.
