    I have the following codes on my template:

    {exp:member:login_form id="member_login_form" return="/index.php"}
                        <div id="wrapper-login"><input type="text" name="username" id="username" class="username"><div id="coverfield">Login</div></div>
                        <div id="wrapper-login"><input type="password" name="password" id="password" class="password"><div id="coverfield">Password</div></div>

                        <input type="submit" name="button" id="button" class="button" value="">

                        <div class="clear"></div>
    {/exp:member:login_form}

    However, after I login, I am being redirected to: http://mydomain.com/S=915bb80b3f74d7f0701c25cd2f7aebcb8d317a93/index.php/ which in turn shows the 404 page.

    Any idea where did S=915bb80b3f74d7f0701c25cd2f7aebcb8d317a93 came from? I checked the page generated in User Message Template and it indeed include this “S=...” thing.

    Yes, it’s a session ID and as such nothing to worry about. You can turn it off by using cookies only, for both the control panel and the main site.
