blog time

    hi guys, EE people,

    My blog seems to be on a different time zone. - ive been in settings and changed to euro setting/greenwich mean time(im in the UK..)/daylight savings etc. all seems good. but my time on my blog is 1 hour ahead.

    If you have daylight-saving switched on while your local time zone isn’t using it, that could be the problem. Am I misunderstanding your original post?

    mmm - i turned daylight saving off and it still doesnt work.

    Admin > Utilities > Clear Cached Data

    hi

    thanks - i tried it - and it doesnt work. have checked everything and it still doesnt work. ?

    So could it be the server. which is in the U.S. ? EE Hosting? Im in the U.K.

    - could there be a problem there?

    It’s possible, but just to make sure you’ve caught all the settings that might affect this:

    There’s a systemwide time-zone setting at Admin > System Preferences > Localization Settings

    There’s also a user-specific time-zone setting at My Account > Personal Settings > Localization Settings

    And there’s a setting at My Account > Member Preferences that, if checked, will cause the user-specific time-zone (and DST) setting to override the systemwide setting.

    If all of those are correct, and clearing the cache still doesn’t do the trick, then by all means contact your host.
