There’s a WordPress plugin that lets people leave Seesmic videos as comments to blog posts. Is there anything like this for ExpressionEngine? I’ve done some searching but have come up dry. If not, I’ll add it to the desired features forum. Thanks!

Find anything yet? Looks like I’m going to have to add video comments to a blog, so I’m on the search for a solution as well!

Having the ability to drop in YouTube or whatever links into Comments might have some merit. Comments can be set to Safe HTML which encodes links. What does that do to YouTube links?

Yes, YouTube embeds may be a good solution for some. I’m also considering pulling comments out of EE and using something like http://www.disqus.com/ or using their API in some way.

I’ve got Disqus comments running on a couple sites… and it works seemlessly. the video comments works really well too… I have facebook connect configured but haven’t seen any activity to say whether it works or not.. It show up as someone can log in with their facebook user and pass… i assume the comments get posted on the commenters wall.. which is the mail reason for this functionality… My only problem is that right now you can’t have a secure section as all comments are posted on your community disqus page as well..
