Hi,

when creating a photo gallery, the image path and url need to be specified.

In Preferences / Server Path to Image Directory
I enter

D:\www\...\www\ee166\images\photo_images\photo_images\ 

but after updating this has changed to

D:/www/.../www/ee166/images/photo_images/photo_images/  /photo_images/ 

so the backslashes have changed to slashes and the string /photo_images/ has added one or more times.

The changing of the slashes happens all the time, the adding of the strings now and then.

I work on a windows server and have EE Build:  20081212 .

Any idea what needs to be done?

Only Windows uses back slashes, all other server operating systems use forward ones. Windows can use them, too, though, so they are converted. Is that an issue? It should still work fine.

thanks. Indeed it does not matter. I thought that that was the problem I had with creating a new gallery, but it turned out that I had made a naming mistake in the nam of the image folder.
