This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I’ve recently updated my sites to EE 1.6.6 build 20081114.  Several of these sites have a weblog for events, which uses the dates and has fields for descriptions etc, inc a geocode field [Mark Huot’s extension] for a google map - but otherwise the weblog only has about seven fields [text].

These sites use same host, but on one site, the publish and edit pages appear completely blank when I try to access them for this weblog. :-(

Existing entries in this weblog display ok in the actual website, so they have not been deleted.

The other weblogs display fine in the CP, including one which also has a geocode field.

I have enabled the ‘display PHP/MySql error messages for superadmins’ in Admin/System Prefs/Output and debugging prefs - and set

    error_reporting(E_ALL);

in System/Index.php.  But I still get NO error messages when I try to publish or edit.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Jan, can you go to Admin -> Utilities -> PHP Info and look for display_errors and let us know what it says? While you’re there, let us know what memory_limit says as well, please.

    Hi Lisa

    hmmmmm
Admin -> Utilities -> PHP Info
      display_errors are ‘off’
[which seems to contradict the output prefs setting]

The memory limit is 128MB [PHP Version 5.2.6]

    Does that give a clue?

That means that your PHP environment is suppressing errors; that’s something that your host will need to toggle for you so that ExpressionEngine can display errors.

    OK - error reporting on

I get the following ‘cleaned’ error messages:

Jan, it looks like you’re completely missing a file.

Can you please update your files to the latest build.  That will hopefully sort out the missing files.

Let us know how it goes.  Thanks!

    OK will do that now

Funny though, one would have thought that the other weblogs would show a similar problem… don’t they all use the calender?
