Displaying posts from other blogs when I am on a single entry... if that makes any sense

I am sure this will be pretty simple for you, I am new to EE and just cant get my head around something.

I think rather than me trying to explain it I will just show you,

    see this page http://www.oneilconsultancy.com/index.php/jobs

It displays posts from the blog “jobs” but if you look in the sidebar, there are posts from other blogs too. This set up has worked really well until you actually click in to one of the jobs(click view more info) and you will notice that the sidebar content disappears.

I guess I am missing something pretty basic and if anyone could help I would be very grateful 😊

    Ah….it’s the one…the only…the dreaded…the “everyone has to learn this”...issue…;)

Set dynamic=“off” in the weblog:entries tag that drives your sidebar.

Thanks so much Boyink! Yea there have been a couple of moments like that with EE. Its nice that every issue so far has been really simple though. EE is very quickly becoming my CMS of choice.

On a side note, I bought your expression engine architecture video and that really helped. Once I understood the way it all fits together I was away.
