I got a new Macbook Pro and I am having issues with the wireless. It will connect to the wireless router, but anywhere from 5 minutes to up to 20 minutes it will drop the connection. I will have to turn airport off and then back on and the connection is restored. It is very strange, my PC based laptop never loses connection. Has anyone experienced this issue before or know of a fix?

    Thanks in advance.

I had this issue with my current (old) MacBook and I had to replace the wireless card.

You got an Apple Store near you?

Yeah, about 1 hour or so away.

I would take it to them. They quite easily diagnosed a bad wireless card. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to NOT get AppleCare so it wasn’t covered and I had to do it myself.

    Never hurts to show them.

I got the apple care since it was a first gen of a new design macbook pro.
