Microsoft announced Tuesday it’s latest OS, Windows 7. Not sure how they came up with that number because I count 7 Windows versions before this latest one, which should make it Windows 8.
3.1, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista and now Win 7.

Looks to be just a bug-fix and rip as much off from Apple as you can type release to me! 😉
Saw this the other day on the BBC news site.
Best wishes,
Mark

lol more bad rip-offs of MAC OS X ... go MS
And that movie on the BBC site, too funny how that guy wants to resize his window or picture with his 2 fingers, and how much trouble he had doing it :p

Ohh and Mac OSX is just a rip off of KDE and GNOME, sjeez. Always these non-sense mac_vs_windows. Who rips of Who.
One thing we must be happy about. COMPETITION.
Without it we would still be on DOS.Now lets see what Apple does now 😊
yeh… okay, but MAC OS makes their inspiration work, MS just rips it off in a bad way mostly 😉
The only thing MS should rip-off are the browser w3c standards :p the Firefox or Safari engine… That should they rip-off =)

Not me. I’ve only ever used Macs since I first started with computers WAAAAAY back then. Well actually I lie I first started on BBC Microcomputers and then a ZX Spectrum (still have 5 in the loft somewhere 😉 ) but no Windows machine has been near me!! 😊
Best wishes,
Mark

Even though I’ve never owned a MAC (too $$$) I will say (subjectively) that they are a strong leader in hardware design and stable user friendly devices and software.
Look at the market response to the iphone and ipod over the past 10 years.
