Since I installed ExpressionEngine, my main homepage is no longer showing up in Google. It seems that mysite.com/template/ (the main template) has replaced it. Is there a way to redirect double pages to one url?

In your EE control panel, is the index template of that group identified as your site’s home page?
At Admin => Weblog Administration => Weblog Management => Weblog Preferences => Path Settings, is your weblog URL shown as “mysite.com/”, or as something else?
Also, in the index template, you might want to use meta tags identifying the page, and double-check what the path.php file says in your site’s root directory. (At this point though I’m really just spitballing…)
For all that, there’s likely to still be some Google behavior that doesn’t make sense. For example, Google indexes a lot of my content not on individual entry pages but on paginations of the index page, or of category or archive versions of the index page. I’d really like to know what to do about that myself.

Thanks, I edited it and I hope it works.
It’s most likely just Google acting strange but it’s a little annoying when the main url doesn’t show up but the /content/ page with the exact same content does.
Thanks for all the help 😊

Google is incredibly unpredictable when it comes to things like that, have patience and do what you can and see if Google reflects the changes.
