I know that atm. there is no search for Gallery. Why i opened new thread is that, that is it in any possible way tell to us if there is coming search soon into gallery also with customs fields included?

I dont want to go “there” and start building 100-10 000 weblog entries with photos just for the reason that they could be searchable.

Please please, tell me that this search is soon coming, lets say for 1.6.5?

My plans for my present project is that it should be launched latest about month from now and if there is no search for fields in gallery then, i have worked my azz off for nothing and then have to build huge weblog entry project just that i can add search for images!

Humble tuittu is no fingers crossed first time with real real real hope on this!

😉  I’ll shift to the ‘General Forum’.  In truth, I don’t know what’s coming and the only official information can be found in the 2.0 FAQ.

Yeah, my “hopes” are gone with the EE2.0 coming soon so i was wondering and seriously hoping that at least this could be “fixed” to 1.6.5 and that image deleting issue also. From what i can read between the lines in that blog what i have every now and then read, that EE2.0 isnt coming soon. dev.beta, invit.beta, and after that, official release = not soon!

Therefore i hope at least that 1.6.5 would come out with these things. Only one man here hoping for search to gallery and fixed deleting attachments problem but anycase…

Ok, because no hints =) i have to start building weblog with categories and then add new upload destination just to pick up the gallery photos and then submitting entries so that i can create search for images with keywords. Puuh. and i still have other zillion things to do beside this! Hope that the search comes! Fingers crossed, made sanctuary etc. to make everything that it will come =)
