    Hi

I have to pick a cms for my company website and it seems EE is quite a powerful tool
But i’m really new to expression engine and from what i’ve already seen or read the default structure for urls are
    http://www.domain.com/index.php/template_group/template/

My website will have some urls like this :
    http://www.domain.com/marketing_solutions/editors/data_marketing/database_amination/relational_programs/newsletters.php

As i do not want to see the “category” word in my url, i guess i cannot use the categories/subcategories to organize my contents. i would use different weblogs for all my contents.

But what would be the best way to have these kind of urls ?

    Thank you for your help

Have you looked into Pages Module?

a module that allows you to easily create and maintain page content that is more akin to static content than dynamic information. Additionally, these special “page” entries can be displayed with virtually any URL desired.
      * Allows content authors to add and maintain pages without needing access to Templates
      * Enjoy the full flexibility of weblog entries in how your “page” information is entered
      * Use virtually any URL to display the “page”

I’d look into url_segments. It would require some work, but should be doable, in principle.

Another suggestion is to try out the Structure Module. It’s new and I haven’t dug into 100% yet, but it might be worth a look.
