Does anyone know how to rust proof screws?

I’ve put a couple screw in a stand up shower that keep rusting when a little water settles over it. The rust comes off fairly easily but is there a home remedy to stop them from rusting over in the first place?

Candle Wax or you can buy little plastic covers from most home improvement shops.

Thanks. I’ll give the candle wax a try.

You just need to drip it over the screw and let it set.

I thought that when I first posted, but then thought what the hell, this isn’t spam.

I like the banter 😊 WD-40 was the helper that worked; no lingering rust.

Now I can get to some CI programming and not worry about those screws
