I was asked to find out if there are any free usable “recruitment” scripts out there?
Functionality required:
  * The users can:
      o Read information about the company.
      o View posted jobs
      o Search posted jobs
      o Use one of the application forms to apply for a position, the application should record data into the database and create a user profile with a CV.
  * The site owners can:
      o Add/Edit/Delete jobs
      o View users profiles and CV’s + Add/Edit/Delete users

I know there isn’t much and any of you will go: thats a couple hours work, but im still a newbie in php and this is a bit too much for me.

I am not asking you to go and look for one for me, just wanted to ask if any of you know a good one?

Considering I had a client that invested over $10,000 on a website similar to what you’re requesting,I doubt you’ll find a free one. Although, the client’s site was more similar to monster (user posts various CVs, companies can post jobs, both can search for each other, etc).

It’s way more than a “couple hours” worth of work when you take into account that you’ll need to handle authentication, profiles, searchable data, you’ll have a bunch of forms to validate, etc. It’s a bunch of stuff.
