    I’m pretty sure this is something really dumb but I’m stuck and no one else is in the office, so here it is.  I’m simply trying to verify that my weblog is all set up properly so in my template I put:

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="site" dynamic="off" }

        {title}

    {/exp:weblog}

    When I view the page itself, I see this:

    Products Template. {title} {/exp:weblog}

    So, yes, it’s a stupid question but I’m spinning my wheels here.

    That’s not all of your template, is it? Perhaps an opening / closing tag mismatch?

    Seriously, that is 100% of it!

    This why baffled me be!

    I kept deleting stuff until I only had that, and it still fails.  Do you have any suggestions for what would cause tags to display in the browser?

    And yes, I do have a weblog called site,
    and yes it has entries.

    Hi, Jeff. Your code is just a wee bit off.

    You had:

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="site" dynamic="off" }

        {title}

    {/exp:weblog}

    It needs to have {/exp:weblog:entries}

    See the difference?

    I knew it was something stupid!  I couldn’t see the forest for the trees as they say.

    Thanks Sue, fixed it right up.  Now I just need a bandaid for the part of my head that has been hitting the wall the past hour.

    You’re getting sleepy…

    Jeff, we’ve all made those kinds of mistakes. Sometimes you just need another set of eyes to look.
