    My client wants a second EE built site and would like to make use of the multi site manager. My immediate thought was, “more to learn, more time needed… need to charge more”.

    Honestly, ball park figure, how long will it take me to;
    install
    set up/configure
    teach myself how to use the manager
    integrate both the existing site and the new site to be built?

    Thanks for your time.

    There is no ball park figure for this. Install takes about 5 minutes or less, setting things up can take 10 -20 minutes (depends on how fast you read)

    I’d purchase a license for yourself and try it on your server first.

    Register a few .info domains, they’re $1 at Godaddy if I remember correctly.

    It’s going to take some time.
