I was curious whether any CodeIgniters were planning to attend OSCON in Portland, Oregon this year?
I haven’t attended one myself and was wondering what others thought of it. If anyone has been to one before and has any opinions about the conference I’d like to hear them.

I submitted to their Call for Papers, the topic was about using existing PHP frameworks, and building a simple version of your own. Since I didn’t really have any strong credentials (and maybe because I wasn’t backed by any well-financed company?) I didn’t get it. Since I can’t afford either the trip there, the hotel, and most of the stuff in the conference, I probably won’t go.
