Hello. Apologies if this has been covered (I’m sure it has). I figure since this is a “pre-sales” forum, you all can be a little more forgiving of my haste.

We’d like to have a portion of our website where articles previews (Maybe a summary or just a paragraph) are viewable by all visitors but the full article is only accessible by “members”.

If the answer is yes, I’d be grateful if you could elaborate more on the features and capabilities of such a system.

    Much appreciated.

Hi, vikeny, welcome to the forums!

The answer is definitely yes.  The way it would work is that you’d use conditionals based on member group to show only part of the content, with a link to the full content.  You can restrict the template showing full content to only the member group you want to view it.

There are other ways to handle this as well - to whom, when, and where you show data is entirely up to you.

Have you tried out one of the demo options?

Just chiming in with my own thoughts.. Doing something like this is absolutely so simple it’s ridiculous. 😊

Hi Lisa, so if the data was for example real estate property listing information and photos I could choose to show however much of the listing’s data to display and then for example require them to register to see more data?

Hi, Mike - yes, as long as you split up info logically amongst custom fields this would be very easy to accomplish.
