    Hi folks,

I’m wondering if there is any client focused documentation available.

There seems to be plenty of documentation aimed at developers, but none (that I can find) aimed at end-users. Something which simply documents how to use the admin, writing a post, adding an image, adding a member - that kind of thing.

We seem to be constantly providing tech support, and writing custom documentation and would really love to be able to say “here, click this link” instead. 😊

    Cheers.

Why don’t you create some video documentation?

I have created a testbed setup and created a series of branded screencasts for clients to view. I then only have to create individual ones based on the features of the site.

I haven’t seen anything like that, and I’m planning to write it in-house.  I think part of the problem stems from the flexibility of EE, which makes it hard to write generalized documentation.  If you were to ask the fine people on the Forums “how do I insert an image into an entry?” I’m sure you’d get several dozen responses.  😊

@Steven - thanks, but I’m trying to do _less_ work 😊 Don’t get me wrong though, I think video tutorials is a great idea.

@Jesse - sure EE is flexible, but there still should be basic documentation for end users. This is what I think is lacking.
