I’ve realized that a lot of my replies lately have involved pasting rather lengthy snippets.  So to cut down on that I’m going to make you guys an offer.

You tell me what you want explained in more depth, and I’ll make a tutorial about it.  This benefits me, because I’ve been planning to do this, but can’t motivate myself.  And it’s request based, so it will hopefully benefit a few of you.

Suggestions here or on the blog.

A possible idea: take linkster as an example and make a tutorial on something we’we done.

For example with the template library, or your MY_Router, there are sure some people that would be interested about it + that would make community start to know little bit about our software 😉

Sort of hard to do a tutorial on unreleased software 😊 .  I’ve thought about writing up a few posts on dissecting CodeIgniter.  Just go over the basics on how a request is handled, and then delving into the core libraries and what benefits extending can have.  May still do that.

A lot of the newer members ask about material after watching the screencasts.  Here’s your chance.

If you can write a tutorial to setup a sample website. The idea is to explain how we use MVC framwork and also how we integrate template system and also few OOP techniques simple pagination ....something like that with practical example would do.

But it should not be too much simpler.

A lot of people seem to have trouble with pagination.  That would be a good topic to cover, if one cannot find an adequate resource.

I agree with Too Pixel. I am desperately seeking about template and your “MY_” libraries. If you make a tutorial about these subjects, I will be appreciated.
