I’m trying to set the basepath so I can edit my templates in an external browser. I’d taknen the path from the _SERVER[“DOCUMENT_ROOT”] but still get the following error every time I I update a template:
Unable to save your template as a text file
Any clues on why this isn’t working. Oh and I’m on WebFaction if that’s of any use.

Perhaps a permission problem? EE needs to be able to write there, too.
