I hope that all Chinese CI fellows are well and in good condition! I’ve watched few videos and want to say that I’m amazed by their calmness and organization. Couldn’t say anything else…

People were talking about it when I came in to work this morning.  One lady asked if the site where the Olympics are being held was damaged and another lady answered, “No”.  The lady that asked said, “Oh Good!”.

All I could think was - what about all of the injured, buried and dead???  You care about wherever the freaking olympics are being held???

Ugh.  It’s a crappy Monday.

Why is it the majority of natural disasters hit the poorest? Is it just geography?

I saw in the news about earth quake, drought, oil climbs up, war and famine ... what do you think we are going to face in the future ... is our sons and daughter can enjoy the earth as we did before ? :(

Adwin, in all seriousness, I’ve got 2 kids, and my daughter asked me the other day, “Dad, is the world going to be wrecked when I’m older?”

I told her that of course it won;t, it’ll just be different and people will have to think more about what they do…

The ONLY way people actually take proper action is when it DIRECTLY affects them, so I guess we’ll just have to ride it out.
