On a side note, hate to thread jack, but I assume this is on topic of the issue.. I noticed that apparently, CodeIgniter also pushes out URL’s the same as ExpressionEngine (embedding index.php).. I’m not technical wizard when it comes to coding (far from it really), but is this an inherent issue in the framework of EE, CI?

Sorry, I don’t follow, at all. What’s the issue you are having with URLs?

mr_dimsum, CI and EE share this same “feature” of using index.php (or index.php? in some cases.) The workaround for both is the same, .htaccess fixes that you can find in the EE Wiki.

NOTE: We (support staff) can’t offer official support on this subject, but there are enough hints out there on how to get it to work.

    Make sense?

If the issue in question is the depth of URLs, then I think CI handles it differently by allowing you to place controllers in nested folders?
