    Hi all,

I had a very common question which I’m hoping someone could shed some light on me with. I’m trying to finalize my URL semantics and navigation for a straight forward blog.

So far, on my home page, I have something like:

http://www.example.com  (This page lists all of my blogs and their full entry, 10 excerpts at a time etc.  Permalinks direct to http://www.example.com/title-of-weblog)

    Archives work something like:

    http://www.example.com/archives/YEAR/MONTH/

My question is, what’s the best semantics to follow for where folks can see comments and post comments? Should I create a new template group called ‘entry’ perhaps and name something such as ‘comments’ in there? And within there post the full blog plus the comments and an opportunity to post one?

So the URL would look like:

    http://www.example.com/entry/comments/title-of-weblog

Does that look typical to you folks? Should I follow my semantics/templates different?

    Thanks so much. 😊

Steve, are your familiar with Lisa’s excellent series “The importance of semantics” on the subject? That should definitely get you started.

    Perfect. 😊
