I’m new to this forum, and am trying to decide whether EE is for me. I’ve signed up for the $10 trial and am just experimenting.

I have some Dreamwever HTML which I’ve pasted into a new template. I “Save and Update” with no problems, but when I come back in to edit, I don’t see my HTML However, when I view he page, it renders with no problems.

I’m sure I must be overlooking something simple since no one else appears to be having this problem. I previously created a simple template by hand coding directly into the template edit window with no problems at all.

I’m hoping there is no cut-and-paste issue with Dreamweaver, since this is how I plan on working with EE.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello coolp, and welcome to the forums!

When you say you come back in to edit, are you referring to the TEMPLATES tab in yoru control panel? Does it still show the default template?

I’m hoping there is no cut-and-paste issue with Dreamweaver, since this is how I plan on working with EE.

A lot of people are working with DW, shouldn’t be an issue. To you have a link to the site where it’s happening?
