I am trying to use Microsoft live writer and Metaweblog API to publish entries remotely.

It works fine except that when creating an entry, I can only set the entry’s title and the body’s text.

I also want to add summary and extended body’s text.

    How can I do that?

    Thanks,

I don’t use summaries, so I haven’t tried to make Live Writer do that. However, in this post tz3ee gives a link to a video that shows how to do it. I watched the video and it mentions a “split” button. Unfortunately, I can’t find a split button on my version. I’m pretty sure that the version that I’m using is newer than the one in the video, so they may have removed that feature. I just don’t know.

Tiger0516 - I just installed Live Writer. The video shows a split button, but if you don’t have access to it using the MetaweblogAPI.

    I use wBloggar instead.
