Anyone out there think there’s any issue with that ? I don’t think so myself, but just wanted to make sure before we went through with it - thx

What kind of issue? Can you be more specific about your concerns?

And do you mean with the Multiple Site Manager?

Any issue. It’s optimal for both sub-domains to point to a single set of data, which in turn will be translated into Spanish, or remain as is (using a combination of EE’s Language Pack and Leevi Graham’s Multi Language Extension/Plugin). Sorry for not being more specific about what we’re trying to achieve; I hope this is clearer. : )

Oh, and the prefix of the sub-domain (a.domain.com vs b.domain.com) will determine what language is displayed. I suppose that’s important to mention too : )

And by a single set of data, I’m saying that we’re trying to avoid having two (or more) sites for a single installation. Have both sub-domains point to a single site. Lisa, I haven’t slept in about 40 hours, so I apologize for any incoherency. I’ve got a ruptured tendon in my ankle and the steady pain I have from it is keeping me awake. Vicoden, tramadol ... no help.

I can’t think of any issues, but I haven’t got any experience with that extension, either.  Want me to move this to the general forum so you get more feedback from the community?

Sure, that’d be great. Have a good weekend

Before you do, please assist: where can I find docs on dealing with setting up sub-domains to point to a single site repository ? Or can multiple sub-domains point to one without any directory difference ? Maybe my question is simpler than you first thought; it doesn’t have anything to do with the extension, but with the concept of sub-domains. I don’t work with them too much - thx
