I was just approached to write some posts/articles for a new site blog or some weekly/monthly features.
They mentioned they could pay me, but I suggested we do it like they do in the “Bro” conomy and do payment in kind, thanks to the inspiration from George Huff at eleven3. I really need a personal license copy of EE. They thought it sounded like a bargain ...more later.

Now I have my own “new word”—blog-conomy, you gotta try it!
Dude, hit me with some shizzle-shwag 😉
Blogging one place to long it’s easy to get in a rut.

Be sure to renegotiate after a while—if you’re blogging for long enough you’re going to start wanting cash flow eventually.  😉

Sounds like a plan, just about the time v.2 comes out 😉
I’m wondering what the upgrade deal will be?

I meant, having the next payment in kind be, having them pick up the tab for the v.2 upgrade.
I’ld like to get in now, no use waiting.
Maybe I’ll learn a bit about a popular sites chances for revenue from advertising etc., then upgrade to the commercial license also, and quit my part-time retail job to be an entrepeneur, that’ld work.

Now where’s my license nudge, nudge 😉
Mubs is a pretty good guy, his site is built on Wp though, never having used Wp, it’s going to be an eye-opener for me as to what all EE does better.

Boy, that Noedesign site is sharp - looks great.

And is it just me, or do there seem to be a lot of churches with great layouts and designs lately?

There really are alot of nice church sites, I’ve never had the chance to work on one.
Some firms maybe specialize, that and non-profits.
I picked the gallery list starting last Friday, it’s a challenge to pick the latest and greatest. There’s some good picks right in the EE site introductions thread, watching that one. Need some topics for technical posts now.

Hi helbnt, hey i just noticed a church site gallery that’s been showing up in the CSS galleries, it was running on EE too! It wasn’t your site was it? Somebody pointed out running sites through http://www.builtwith.com to get a technology profile on the site, like what cms, works great.
The site link was: http://churchbeauty.com/ another recent thread gallery for churches was: http://vandelaydesign.com/blog/galleries/best-church-websites
More news on the church site front is M. Boyink’s new tutorial at train-ee.com according to a twitter comment, Mike got permission to use the $58 dollar site template for free for educational purposes, official announcement coming soon.

    Latest MI post:
I had a real sort of idea for a great post to link some notable CMS showoff threads in forums. Wanted to give it a mention here, since I did the same over at MODx. Nobody’s give EE any love in the comments yet, I did in the article, but… don’t be shy 😉

    Weekend!
