    Hello,

normally I work with EE from home and there everything works fine. But I made some tests from remote and get access. So far so good.
But there is a strange behaviour on some sites when I try to select them. When I want to go on some sites (inside the admin-tool from remote) I get the login-panel instead the selected page. But the funny thing is that when I make some minor changes in the URL like some .php?=.....  instaed of .php?S=... (i only take the S away) then I get on the correct page.
I don’t have any explanation for this behabiour. When I am working from remote to try this then I work on Explorer 6.02 (might be a reason ??).
Anybody some better explanation or even a solution ?

For authentication, try using cookies only instead of session ids.

As Ingmar said, this does sound like a sessions issue. You can make that recommended change in Admin -> System Preferences -> Security and Session Preferences.  For Admin Session, try Cookies Only. =)
