This is not a technical question (I’ve posted enough of those) but I’d like to know whether and how a person making an entry in a blog can inform others (say in a member group), sort of a trackback in reverse.  This would be a way for people to work as a team though a blog.

I should say I’ve set up my site as a series of ‘conversations of exploration’ and so the word ‘work’ as in ‘exploration’ is appropriate.

I’m sure what I want is there in EE but then everything is.  I’m always a bit overwhelmed by all the options, only a few of which I really grasp.  (E.g. bookmarklets?)

    Thanks for any feedback.  peterd

Also, if you can teach others how to use a newsreader, the RSS and Atom capabilities of EE work very well. Then they could subscribe to your blog and receive updated entries directly in their newsreader (bloglines, Yahoo, Google Reader, etc.)
