    Hello,

    I just have to say I have been having a fun time working with expression engine; very user friendly.

    NOw this is the question that I would like help in and that is how do I create an archive list. IT would go onto the right side column. Here is the link of where the location would go in http://kevinkashou.com/index.php/creations/recent_news/ in the date column.

    This is my format of how I am looking about doing;

    December
    12-2-2008 - Title of that post

    January
    1-2-2009 - Title of that post
    1-3-2009 - Title of that post
    1-4-2009 - Title of that post

    February
    2-2-2008 - Title of that post

    Then it goes on from there repeating the post that I did.

    What resource can I take a look at?

    Thanks,

    Cash88

    I think you’d just do it with the standard weblog entries tag.  You’d want to use the dynamic=“off” parameter, so that it still works on single entry pages.  I’d also use the disable parameter to keep things lean.  And I’d stick a reasonable limit on there- don’t want it getting too long.

    Then to get the date headings like you want?  Just use the date_heading variable pair- should do the trick.
