I know about the admin member profile templates. I need to access the registration page. What do I have to do to get one up?

Do I transfer the registration template from the admin portion to the template portion?

I’ve look for documentation but didn’t find anything. What’s the url to get to the registration page?

    Thank you in advance,
    Matt

Might this be what you’re looking for… Wiki ... Standalone Registration Form

    Thank you but not quite…

I suppose a better way to ask my question would be:

The registration form code that is accessed through the admin panel and labeled member profile templates is at some point shown to the user so they can register with your site. How do I set up and publicly display that page?

I am not sure I totally understand your question either, which is fine, just keep asking and eventually we will close the gap.

As long as the page is publicly accessible then there is no more that needs to be done for setup.  To get to the page, you would just setup a link to it.

For the default site, that link is something to the effect of http://domain.com/index.php/member/register/

You can also create a link with the following snippet.

    <a href="http://{path=member/register}">Register as a new member</a>

    As mentioned on this page.

You can also ask this question in the tech support forum.

The registration form is accessed though this link… http://www.domainname.com/index.php/member/register/ ...you’d just include that link in your template.

Edit-Add: Hey John, posting at the same time 😉

That’s what I was looking for!

    Thank you.

I guess the only question I have left is where is that documented? I looked everywhere.

Ah… got rather distracted by the link on top of it…

    Thank you kindly, much appreciated.
