    Hi all,

    A brief background:

I have a hip hop radio show in China. We are trying to create a blog/website where we can discuss everything in basically a blog form. We have most of the graphic design finished. We now are looking for a coder to basically turn our design into an expressionengine site. the coders we have worked with here from china have been difficult to work with because they are so unfamiliar with the expression engine.

    Our site would need:

Blog with comments and trackbacks, rss, google ads, blah, blah blah
    Gallery
    message board
    music player with our design
modules attached to specific categories (ie a box with latest music reviews and thumbnail or an “events” banner where we could maintain any changes)
    chinese text support

So if i were to find someone online to code our design, how much should i expect to pay?

Moreover i am sure there are quite a few good coders on this messageboard. being a tech nerd wannabee myself, after the site is put up, i would like to maintain some of the functions on my own. of course if we were to add anything major to the site i would still require a coder but for some of the modules on the template (eg. events and music reviews) i would like to be able to update on my own.

so if anyone out there can help me. please let me know…

    thanks,

    jef, MC

Pricing discussions are pretty much a no, no here in the Forums so I doubt you’ll get much feedback. You’d be better off either posting to the job board where then coders can respond privately or going through the professional network, contacting a few that seem to match your needs and starting a dialog.
