    Hi.

    I´m finishing a development with EE 1.6.0 (build 20070918).
On Control Panel (statistic block) I´ve seen two rows like:

    System Status: (green color) Enabled
    Site Status: (red color) Disabled

¿What is the diff between system status and site status? I found nothing about this into the EE docs… and my newest developments are yet using 1.6.2 version (it seems this 2 items are now only one: system status ¿maybe?)

    Thanks in advance.

System Status is the entire ExpressionEngine CMS. Site Status is an individual site in the Multiple Site Manager (MSM).

Apparently it’s possible for the Site Status to appear if you don’t have MSM installed. See this thread for details.

The site status was removed from the CP in EE 1.6.1 or 1.6.2, I believe. Unless you’re using Multiple Site Manager, it’s useless. So ignore the little mystery.
