Licenses and Multiple Site Manager not working

Hi,

We recently bought 8 new expression engine licenses. When trying to apply it to one of hte isntallations it is not saving this new license. It says “Preferences updated” but the license box is left blank.

In addition, we have bought a license for multiple site manager and have uploaded the files (correctly, I have double and tripled checked this) but when I change the setting in the “General Configuration” page to enable Multiple Site Manager it once again says “Preferences Updated” but the setting is still set to “no”.

Please advise as it is vital that we commence work on this large project.

If I had to bet, the config.php isn’t writable. Double check that- generally needs to be chmod 666. That would be the first thing I’d check.
