I’ve developed a website using EE and I’m wondering if integrating their member-only site is possible within EE.

The challenge is that their ‘members’ are companies (approx 400 companies), and the individuals that may register/login are contacts (1-5 contacts per co) of these member companies.

I realize that, if it is possible, it would need custom work (I’ve been looking at aMember for certain aspects) but I’m thinking this sort of member set up is beyond even aMember + EE integration…would love to be wrong though!  Thoughts?

You could just set up a member group per company, and assign those clients to that particular member group.  It really depends on what other features you are needing here.  Can you go into more detail?

Yea, I thought about that but then I couldn’t think of way to set up a profile for each member group/company…such as address, website, dues status.

The client would like an Admin interface (based on their site look) where they can:

    - add/edit member companies profiles (address, website, etc.)
    - add member company contacts
    - view/edit profiles of member company contacts
    - view/edit payment status (possible thru aMember?)
    - ability to create working groups and assign member contacts to them

The logged in contacts/members would be able to:

    - view their companies dues status
    - update their profiles
    - view restricted docs/blogs based upon if they’ve been assigned a working group

crazycode, I’m a bit concerned about licensing here as it sounds like you may be providing hosting to third parties.  You may want to send a detailed email to sales so that we can make sure you’re within EE’s licensing terms. =)

I’ve sent sales an email.  I figured the licensing concern was based upon the restricted blogs?  That aside, would the rest of the requirements sound feasible within EE?
