I can’t see the Title and Content windows on the Forums Tab of “EDIT” ?
Would like to start setting discussions for upcoming releases but can’t automate it.

Mod Edit: Moved to the Technical Support forum.

Hey, Corvaire - I’m not quite following where you’re looking or what you’re looking for.  Is this in the control panel, on the edit screen? And you’re looking for forum threads there?

Yes, on the “edit” page of the main control panel, there is a “forums” tab where you can insert a “title” and “content” that would create a forums post. It also has an ID window where you can input an optional Thread ID if you wish to just manually direct it for discussion to a thread you have already created.

I am only shown the ID window and not the the other two. At one point the Title windows “Title” showed but had no input window, but has sense disappeared?

Looks nothing like what is shown in the help files.

Everything is updated with current versions of both the Licensed Core and the Forums and I have not altered the Main Control Panel.

I have also un-installed any CP extensions from 3rd parties. (with exception to Fresh Variables and LG Social bookmarks.

Ah, ok. That is commonly known as the Publish Page (going by the tabs above the Publish form, the Edit page would be to the right of Publish).

You can only create a new forum thread when creating a new post - when editing a post, you will only be able to link it to an existing forum thread, so this sounds like standard behavior.  You could certainly put in a feature request to change this.

Hmm, so if I “clone” the post, I should be able to then associate and auto create the post in the forums? (then delete the pre-existing post.)

Also, this is not the Publish tab, this is the “Edit” tab and all of it’s sub-tabs. (just wanted to make that clear for others.)
