is it feasible via the multi-site plugin to install EE once, set up multiple sites for different clients via that install with a complete separation of content/users/permissions between them? or, is a separate install required on a per client basis.  keep in mind, in this scenario we’d like each client to be maintaining their own content and we’d have a “super admin” account to maintain all sites.

our goal is a single point of admin for one or more clients who have one or more websites each and our own websites…

    clear as mud? 😊

Sorry bcamp1973, the ExpressionEngine license does not allow for what you are describing, and the Multiple Site Manger does not change the ExpressionEngine license to allow a hosted service. Every site managed in an installation (including use of MSM) must be owned by the same person/entity.  So if you have multiple clients with their own sites, you will need to purchase a license for each client and have separate installations.
