    second question about EE 😊
How hard is to integrate some forum in EE or community system? is it already done or do I have to do it for myself?
are there any tutorials for dummies? I have found out that from them I can learn almost everything to get started ...
and third ajnd final for today ...
I have read something on this forum abotu use on multiple sites ... Do I have to pay 250$ for each site I develop that isn’t hosted on my hosting solution? I have few clients that want website on their servers ... and I if I sould pay 250$ for each of them ... it would be little hard .. for me as individual developer from small country ...and also 40$ for each of them per year ... :( if I understood corecctly, please tell me I am wrong ...

You live in a small country?  If our dollar continues to tank we might just reach parity with your own currency.

Just because you live in a “small country” does not mean that you need to charge small rates.  Go get some clients from Europe.  😉

You have to buy a different license for each site that is not owned by you.  That means each of your clients will need a different license.  You also need a license for each of your own installations of EE.  That means you will need two different licenses for two different servers.

The MSM allows you to have multiple instances of EE off one installation but in your case this probably won’t help because each client needs to have a different license.  This is true if they are on your server or not.

If you have further questions about licensing then you should contact sales as they are the final word on this subject.

if everything goes as it is moving on world market, our currency will become relevant for oil 😊
kidding, and talking about small country, Croatia, 4 million of people .... less than center of NY ...

I will be probably very active on there forums until I find out answers on what seems stupid questions ... but I need some things cleared to change my whole development cycle.

And final question about this ... If I have my own hosting, adn several sites with different domainsm, would that cover licence? Can that work? to have several different sites on same hosting account ...

The MSM is the supported method for running multiple domains and subdomains.  You can read the doc I linked to for more info.  Your licensing questions should be directed at sales.

Using the MSM you can setup multiple sites using one EE installation.  These sites can be different domains or sub domains or whatever other scheme you can come up with.  They have to be on one server because multiple servers would require multiple installations of EE.

Just as a further note and reinforcement, all Sites under the Multiple Site Manager must be owned by the same person; so if you are developing sites for Third Parties, you will need to purchase separate licenses and perform separate installations from them here.  Here, also, is a link to our license for review.

You can also read about the Discussion Forum module here =)
