    Hey Everyone,

This may sound ridiculous, but I know I’m just missing something minor. I’m using EE as a full CMS with an index, about us, etc…with a blog on the site. I’ve got my blog set up to use a template named BLOG, and the INDEX template currently displays the html for the home page. When I post entries in the blog it looks great on domain.com/blog, but when I click the permalink for an entry, I get what looks to be the template for INDEX with no entry content. I want the permalink to use the BLOG template….am I missing something? Any help? Thanks so much for putting up with the new guys!  😊

There’s a couple ways to use the permalink.  If you just use {permalink} it defaults to the site index,  but you can use {permalink=template_group/template_name} and it will then point to your preferred template.
