    I’d like to try out the “pages” module but I’m afraid that if I publish a new “page” it will end up in the RSS feed as if it’s another post to my blog.  Can someone shed light on this?  As far as I can see the docs and wiki entry don’t mention how EE treats pages as far as RSS.

    You can use show_pages=“no”, or store your pages in a different weblog entirely; what shows up in the RSS feeds is entirely under your control through the weblog entries tag(s) in that template.

    where do I put show_pages=“no”?  In the RSS template, the comments template, the index template, all? .. and where in the template?
    My guess is in the RSS template here:
    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="{master_weblog_name}” limit=“10” rdf=“off” dynamic_start=“on” disable=“member_data|trackbacks”}

    but..  the “page” I create will show up as a regular entry in my weblog still?  Since changing that will only hide the “page” from the generated RSS.  ?

    I tried the “different weblog” route.. ack.. dang.. that got complicated/messed up quick.  When I went to mysite/comments the sample “page” I created showed up.  I copied the comments template to create a new “static_pages” template and set the sample “page” to use that.  Same results.  I’ll stick to one weblog on my system.

    sorry.. I’m used to the “static pages” of Mambo/Joomla and this mixing of blog and “pages” is very different.
