Hi,
I have been scanning through the user guide and cannot find an answer. I am displaying information for a particular category, and wish to display entries from another weblog with the same categories. Therefore I need the category ids for the specified entry. Is there an easy way to do this, or do i need to pass the category ids in the url string as well as the url_title for the entry?

Well, you could definitely get the information from the DB, but I would check the wiki to see if there are any plugins that do that for you. Wouldn’t be that hard a plugin to write.

related category mode did the trick.
