I have been looking at EE with a lot of interest, but I have some reservations as it is considerably different than what I do now and expected. So I have been actively reading posts and especially watching the video blogs. I didn’t have access to post in the blog section, so I figured I would post here.
I had a lot of problems using your video blog links, the video load and show up pink with lines like an arcade game that crashed back in the 90’s. When hitting play the browser crashes, this is with the latest QuickTime and Firefox/IE. I even tried loading the latest Quicktime and rebooting, but the problem is non-stop. The link that says “right click” to download makes you think you right click on the video, not the link. I managed to get everything working by just downloading the files, but it is a pain to be honest.
So I suggest using YouTube, or even Google Video, it would most likely generate traffic to your site and perhaps even go Viral, it would decrease the load on your network, and we all know YouTube/Google Video both work flawlessly in just about every browser. Although you do have a small portion of Corporate America blocking YouTube, it is just a thought, because I tried accessing the videos without downloading from 3 machines and both major browsers. And downloading them is just too many steps for a 60 second video.
Regardless, I applaud your effort as I highly believe in video examples as it saves everyone time and I believe they are highly effective for both parties.
